The Autoliv Philippines in Mepz Lapu lapu City once again invited me to conduct firefighting seminar and drill in their company. A total of 25 participants joined the training facilitated by their safety officer as well as the human resource officer.

The morning session was devoted to discussions on the basics of fire and fire theories. The afternoon session was devoted to drills on the practical and skills aspect such as rolling and unrolling of hoses, coupling connections, operation of the firefighting team.

The participants took turns in applying what they have learned during the discussion and at the end of the seminar/training, certificates of attendance were given. The safety officer likewise acknowledge the help of our training center by giving us a certificate of appreciation.

I was invited once again by the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) to speak about First aid and Emergency Care during their Disaster Management Seminar held in the Municipality of Medellin.

The participant were government officials, public school teachers, Baranggay Officials and other government representatives from the Municipality.

The municipality is about 3 hours ride from the city and I took off early to arrive in time for my scheduled time.

We had another round of training for caregiving students of CHP. This time, a total of 25 participants joined the training. This is part of their module for the caregiving course prior to taking the Tesda Skills Assessment.
